Easy Peasy Pizza Toast

Pizza toast say what?! Yes! Pizza toast. Toast that takes just like pizza but only takes minutes to make with nearly half the calories! I love this meal for a quick weeknight dinner, especially when the hubs and I are craving pizza. This is also super kid friendly and customizable. Seriously, you can make it however you like! Keep reading for this must-have recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 1 jar of pizza sauce

  • Mozzarella cheese

  • Any of your favorite pizza toppings

  • 45 calorie bread by Sara Lee

Directions:

  1. Toast your bread in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes on a greased cookie sheet. Then, take it out and set it aside.

  2. In the meantime, prepare all of your favorite pizza toppings (I chose tomatoes, spinach, and chicken for mine - pre cooked).

  3. Put about 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on top of your bread, about 1/4 cup of cheese, and all of your prepared toppings.

  4. Then, put your pizza toast back in the oven for about 8-10 minutes until all of the cheese is melted.

  5. ENJOY!

That is seriously it y'all. It usually only takes about 15 minutes and it is delicious! Weeknights get busy and it is so easy to just grab something on the go. Having quick meals you can eat and feed your family before you run out the door will keep you full for longer, and won't break the bank. So fast, so yummy, so healthy. Try it out!!
