This recipe is not only DELISH, but it won’t break your calorie bank either. It’s designed to be good and also be GOOD for you!
I know I say this a lot but.. healthy does not have to be BORING!
Here we go!
Ingredients:
2 cups of white or oat flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1 1/2 cups mashed overripe bananas
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup honey or agave
1 Tbsp of any sweetener of choice
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x5 loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Combine the dry ingredients into a bowl. Whisk the liquid ingredients in a separate bowl.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir to form a batter.
If desired, press chocolate chips into the top.
Bake on the center rack for 40 minutes, then DO NOT open the oven door, but turn off the heat and let it sit in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve once completely cooled!
And as always.. Enjoy!!
