Who doesn't love a good casserole filled with buttery crescent rolls? Even better.. one that calls for less than 10 ingredients. You can't beat it! When I am cooking for my husband, I want him to love every bite of his food. I want him to feel all of the love that was put into the meal he is eating. That's what cooking is about right? If you aren't cooking for people you love, who are you cooking for?
Casseroles remind me of chilly evenings and good times with family. They are that perfectly warm meal that meets every expectation of love and goodness in one bite. That's why sharing them with the people you love is so special. It's that warm, fuzzy feeling that you can't describe, but instead just sink into and enjoy every moment of.

Ingredients:
1.5 - 2 pounds lean ground turkey or beef
Salt, pepper, garlic, and onion to taste
16 ounces marinara sauce (any brand you like)
8-12 ounces mozzarella cheese (depending on how much cheese you like)
3 cups fresh spinach
2 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
2 packages crescent rolls
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick spray
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook your ground meat until no pink is remaining, season as you cook
Add in spinach and cook until fully wilted & cherry tomatoes
Stir in marinara sauce until fully combined
Season one more time and then pour entire mixture into casserole dish
Layer top of casserole with two packages of crescent rolls, laying them right next to each other
Bake covered with foil for about 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for about another 20-25 minutes or until crescent rolls are nice and golden brown.
Once baked, brush with melted butter and sprinkled parsley to serve.
